Loan tenure rules
Maximum tenure and age criteria for home loan, personal loan and others.
Maximum tenure varies by product: home loans up to 25–30 years, personal loans 1–5 years, LAP 15–20 years.
Retirement age or age at maturity is often considered: some lenders require loan to close by 60–70 years of age.
Longer tenure means lower EMI but higher total interest.
